Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Embark on your 9-day adventure as we meet you in Tangier and drive to Chefchaouen, a captivating town in northwestern Morocco. Known for its blue-and-white buildings set against the backdrop of mountains, Chefchaouen offers a picturesque setting. Explore its narrow streets, vibrant markets, and charming cafes before spending the night in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes

After breakfast, our journey continues to Volubilis, passing through Ouazane. Explore the Roman ruins with captivating mosaics and pillars. Head to Meknes for a local lunch and city exploration, visiting landmarks like Bab El Mansour and Moulay Ismail shrine. Finally, drive to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing

Discover Fes’ historical treasures, starting with the Royal Palace gate and the 16th-century Jewish quarter, Mellah. Visit iconic sites like Al Qaraouine University, Moulay Idriss mausoleum, Attarine museum, and the Tanneries. After lunch, explore the tiles cooperatives, climb Borj Nord for a panoramic view, and spend the night in a riad.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga

Journey from Fes to Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Telghamt pass and Ziz Gorge. Experience the transition to the Sahara as you approach Errachidia. Encounter Barbary Macaque apes in cedar forests, have lunch, and continue to Erfoud and Rissani. Reach Merzouga, where you can explore nearby dunes on foot and spend the night in your hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Sahara Adventure

Explore Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4, visiting Khamlia for Gnawa music and meeting nomad families. Return to your hotel and embark on a camel ride to a desert camp. Enjoy dinner, music, and spend the night in a preferred tent.

Day 6: Merzouga to Dades Valley

Witness a captivating sunrise, have breakfast, and leave for Rissani. Explore its lively souk before visiting Erfoud for a fossilized marble workshop. Drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon. Wander in the gorges, have lunch, and continue to the Dades Valley. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakesh

Drive to Ouarzazate, stopping at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the well-preserved mud-brick buildings and experience Saharan culture. Reach Marrakech and spend the night in a riad/hotel.

Day 8: Marrakesh City Tour

Visit historical monuments like Majorelle Gardens, Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, and Koutoubia Tower. Enjoy a meal in Medina restaurants and have free time to explore the city. Spend the night in preparation for the last day.

Day 9: Casablanca Departure

After breakfast, drive to Casablanca. If time permits, visit the Hassan II mosque. Drop off at the airport marks the end of your 9-day Morocco holiday from Tangier.
