Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Begin your 5-day desert adventure with a warm welcome in Tangier. We’ll pick you up from your chosen location, be it your accommodation, the airport, or the port. Tangier, known as “the bride of the north,” charms with its location where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spartel. Explore the city, including the Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel, with free time for lunch. Journey inland to Chefchaouen, passing through Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Enjoy panoramic views and stay overnight in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, wander through the enchanting blue alleys of Chefchaouen. The journey continues to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways. Drive 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, exploring sites like Bab Al-Mansour and the Royal Stables. Head to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

Drive south to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for its low temperature and alpine-style architecture. Explore the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch, then journey through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz Valley, enjoying panoramic views. In the afternoon, reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Experience a camel ride, witness the sunset from a high dune, and stay in a traditional yet luxurious desert camp with Berber music under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga Sahara – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early for a captivating sunrise in the Sahara. After breakfast, leave for Rissani, an ancient trading center with a lively souk. Explore Erfoud and visit a fossilized marble workshop. Drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon ideal for rock climbing. Enjoy lunch and continue to the Dades Valley, passing the “monkey fingers” rock formation. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit Kalaa Magouna for the Rose Valley, home to an annual Rose Festival. Drive through Skoura’s palm groves and explore the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Visit Ouarzazate, its movie studios, and the Taourirt Kasbah. Depart for the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in movies and TV series. Explore the Telouet Kasbah and journey to Marrakech through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Make stops for lunch and picturesque views. Finally, drop off at your Riad in Marrakech, marking the end of your 5-day adventure in Morocco.
